3. "American Skin (41 Shots)"
4. "American Skin (41 Shots)"
5. "American Skin (41 Shots)"
6. "American Skin (41 Shots)"
7. "Dancing in the Dark"
8. "My Love Will Not Let You Down"
9. "41 Shots (Reprise)"
Please, Bruce. Don't back down.

If I could pay to have one person to stay young forever, it'd be Michael Jackson at 8 years old.
This shot of Springstein makes me re-evaluate that.
:P
RIGHT??? And I had like five other equally amazing pictures to choose from.
And, of course, as it turned out, in a moment of unexpected frivolity, between the 4th version of 41 Shots, and the 5th version of 41 Shots, Bruce busted out "The Girls in Their Summer Clothes_, for no apparent reason. Still, he did manage to get off 246 Shots!
We're kneelin' over his body in the vestibule,
prayin' for his life.
Well,
Is it a gun?
Is it a knife?
Is it a wallet?
This is your life.
That's a shitload of shots. And I mean, Bruce can do whatever he wants and I will be totally happy.
PREACH IT KMAC
Hey Loren! I was just reading your blog (excellent piece on the Band, by the way) and I wanted to share, because of the inclusion of "Dancing in the Dark," the fact that I've started an essay that relates to both the song "Dancing in the Dark" and the phrase "Dancing in the Dark" in Americana. Fred Astaire, Steve Martin, and Bruce Springsteen, ALL IN ONE ESSAY.
